These are the raw, unedited notes I wrote while shaping this article. They are closer to a brain dump than a prompt library: my thinking, philosophy, corrections, and direction. The ideas are mine. AI helped turn them into a smoother, more readable essay.
Prompt 1
/goal lets start an article about the different kind of bots, for example lets try exa search and exa fetch, duck duck go bot or bing bot and all those. Lets write a dedicated skill for ai-bot-analytics-grilling. So i am interested from the api or mcp or cli or whatever or from the browser triggering a bot to ask a question, so we have several bots/ai search and web tooling providers to test and we have multiple dimensions, so we need sections and sub sections, and we need to report everything we learn all about them. Use your own browser if needed.
Prompt 2
Approve bounded private capture
Prompt 3
yeah and of course read all the relevant/respective logs from the cloudflare, use wrangler cli as needed
Prompt 4
i logged in the exa as well, they have both search and crawl and fetch apis for agents
Prompt 5
lets try firecrawl too. and lets try tavily too. here is the tavily api key if need be as well in the ~/tavily.env they also have search fetch crawl and agent chat all and i am logged in their website too in your browser. we should have it all
Prompt 6
im logged in the chatgpt website too, all these tabs should already be open. Lets try brave's search too and they should have api as well: [https://search.brave.com/](https://search.brave.com/)
Prompt 7
lets try context.dev too, they seem to be also doing smth similar. lets try perplexity too, i should be logged in: [https://www.perplexity.ai/?login-new=false&login-source=floatingSignup](https://www.perplexity.ai/?login-new=false\&login-source=floatingSignup)
Prompt 8
Use public access only for now
Prompt 9
whats wrong with wrangler cli? don't we have an api token or are we not authenticated there
Prompt 10
logged in the wrangler cli again, it should work i believe
Prompt 11
you have my approval to use wrangler cli as needed
Prompt 12
i just queried via perplexity, it feels like that they are blocking the query params but # worked, you can look at the entire conversation that i had with it in your browser, and next time please don't give up so easily, i feel like some providers block query params but you can use # instead, there is no way that these agents don't have web search or fetch tools you know
Prompt 13
lets do grok too, i should be logged in there as well. And lets to chatgpt bot as well, i am logged in the chatgpt site as you already know, ask my chatgpt Dot to try either via the browser to visit the url and both to fetch it as needed. I wonder how dot's computer will get registered you know\... lets do the claude doo: [https://claude.ai/new](https://claude.ai/new) but i only have free account with them but i should be signed in. I signed in context.dev too and it has all api key, cli, skill or web tools right there on the dashboard all.
Prompt 14
lets test/verify gemini too. And the idea is to also additionally validate our analytics as well. Are we detecting all these bots, crawlers, fetches, browser access properly, are we distinguishing between the providers, are we labeling the network providers properly? Besides the article the idea is to improve and harden our code lmao. You are behaving as if we are just trying to show which ones succeeded lmao, no we are doing much more than that . Its like continuation of that article which ai fetchers send which headers in much more robust and informative, latest and greatest, and also talking about our own analytics how it all works, and lot more. The title should which ai fetchers, browsers, and crawlers and all that send which headers and how to detect them in analytics. Like the goal is to help people identify and improve their analytics in the ERA of AI based browsing. Like the objectie is much larger than you think. Update the title and improve the article and improve the blog analytics as well. We should be detecting and differentiating correctly and truthfully as well. Read authoritative and native docs and improve our code as needed if thats not the case.
Prompt 15
publish the article, post it to my X and find 5-10 X threads to reply to with an important findings to help them out with a reply and link to our blog and find 5-10 reddit pages, as posts or comments where we can post it in a lowkey way, so that we don't get banned for self promotion lmao or so that we don't go against the AI written article rules, write like me in the same style is i write, like you can see the punctuations that i use and i write mostly lowercase, and i write a bit weirdly overall, but write like me Goga as a human, i don't want the posts and comments to feel like AI generated, like keep them to the point, share the most important details without pretext and background information, like if people want to know the why and how and all that they have to read the blog, only share the important what upfront right away, but share the blog link definitely, either through the comments or the post itself. This is really important btw, otherwise our posts are not getting enough traction.
